Meeting minutes of 5th November

Minutes:
1. Raffles Project:
Discussed how did it go and shared experiences - conclusion is that we are better in organizing next such event mainly because we know what worked and what not. Special Kudos to Juna for selling tickets in person. We appricate the efforts of Sofia and Rashmi for their participation and capturing some photos on the Halloween day. Those photos would be shared to this group soon.

Due to some administrative hurdles, we have not announced winners. Tom will be announcing winning tickets and disctirbuting hampers to them next week. PA will inform parents about winnners and say "thank you" for their participation.

2. Logo Competition
Not much progress so far. But decided to leave this event until January mainly because of the coming Christmas party and mood. In the mean time we finalise the letter to be sent to all parents.

3. Misson statement for the school
Lara informed that a proper misson statement is required for the school. Tom will take the lead on this initially, and then interested people can contribute to it. More to follow on this in coming weeks

4. Parents rep on ET enrollment committee
Tom is looking for a representatibe from PA onto the enrollment committe of the Educate Together schools in Lucan area. We welcome any interested volunteers to give his/her name ASAP.

5. Chirstmas Party
The Adamstown community Christmas party would be held on December 12th in St. Johns school. We want to do a little item for 5-10 minutes there. We need to see what can we do in next meeting.

6. Lara updated us about what is going on in the school.
- Relationships and Sexual Education (RSE) policy and committee
- Social Personal Health education
- Halloween party

7. Committee on RSE policy
Relationships and Sexual education policy for the ACETNS will be created by a committe of 6 people represeting from the Board, teachers and Parents. Dermot and Lara will be from the staff, Rao and Olga will be on this committe from PA.

8. Next meeting 19th November at 7:30 pm

Raffles: Tom to draw, Rao to prepare note to parents.
Logo: Olga and Rao to prepare a letter to be sent to parents
Parent Rep on ET enrollment committe: Rao to inform name to Tom after consulting parents
Christmas party: Everyone to think on it before next meeting
